You can generally use our website without providing any personal data. Where personal data (for example name, address or email addresses) is collected on our pages, this is, wherever possible, always done on a voluntary basis. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent.

Please note that data transmission over the internet (e.g. when communicating by email) may not be completely secure. It is not possible to fully protect data against access by third parties.

We hereby expressly object to the use of contact details published as part of our legally required imprint by third parties for sending unsolicited advertising and information materials. The operators of this website expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of unsolicited advertising, such as spam emails.

Cookies and consent

This website does not set any cookies before you have given your consent, with the exception of the strictly-necessary language cookie "NEXT_LOCALE" described below. On your first visit, we show you a consent banner where you can choose which categories of optional content may be loaded. Your decision itself is stored exclusively locally in your browser, in what is known as localStorage, under the key "ng-consent". Technically, this is not a cookie but data stored locally on your device, which this website does not transmit to us or to third parties. Only your category choices (e.g. "external media: yes/no") and a version number of the consent are stored — no personal data. If the consent format changes in the future, the website recognises this from the version number and asks for your consent again.

When you explicitly switch between German and English using the language switcher, we additionally set the first-party cookie "NEXT_LOCALE", which contains only your chosen language, stores no personal data, and exists solely to remember your language choice on future visits. It is only set when you actively switch the language and is considered strictly necessary; see our cookie policy for details.

In the consent banner we distinguish between the following categories: "Necessary" (always active, stores only your consent decision), "Statistics" and "External media".

Statistics

The consent banner provides for a "Statistics" category. Currently, however, no analytics or statistics tool is active on this website; no corresponding data is collected and no cookies are set for this purpose. Should a statistics tool be activated in the future, this section will be updated beforehand with details on the provider, purpose and data processing involved.

External media (YouTube, Google Maps)

On individual pages we embed videos from YouTube and a map view from Google Maps. Neither is loaded automatically when the page is opened; instead, a preview image is shown first (a so-called two-click solution). The respective content is only loaded once you actively click the play button or the map preview, or once you have previously given consent to the "External media" category in the consent banner.

We embed YouTube videos via the more privacy-friendly domain youtube-nocookie.com. Nevertheless, loading a video or the Google Maps map establishes a connection to servers operated by Google Ireland Limited or Google LLC; in the process, data — including your IP address — is transmitted to Google and may be processed there, including in the USA. We have no influence over the content or scope of this data processing. Further information can be found in Google’s privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Contact forms (Contact and Inquiry)

If you send us a message via the contact or inquiry form on this website, we process the data you enter (e.g. name, email address, phone number, message text) solely to handle your request. The data is transmitted by email (SMTP) to our mailbox info@ng-motorsports.de and processed there. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR (taking steps towards, or fulfilling, a request).

To protect against automated abuse (spam), we use automated technical checks that work without a third-party captcha — no data is transmitted to third parties for this purpose. As part of these checks, we briefly process technical connection data, in particular your IP address. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in protecting our forms against abuse). These checks take place exclusively on our server.

Withdrawing your consent

You can withdraw or change your consent at any time, with effect for the future. Use the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer of this website to reopen the consent banner and change your selection.

Your rights

You have the right, at any time and free of charge, to request information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients, and the purpose of the data processing (Art. 15 GDPR), as well as a right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) or restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) of this data. You also have a right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) and a right to object to the processing of your data (Art. 21 GDPR).
